Front-End Developer

We are looking for a well-rounded front-end developer to work on a multitude of database-driven website projects. Quality of work, speed, reliability, and good communication are essential.

A Little About You
You have expert knowledge and experience in XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Web 2.0 style features using AJAX, JQuery, etc. You have experience integrating your code with PHP/MySQL database-driven elements. Also, you have knowledge of current Internet standards, including web browser compatibility and browser specifications. You are also good at incorporating team feedback and revisions as appropriate, proactively identifying issues and concerns that could impact scheduling and/or quality.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Expert knowledge of WordPress customization is a must
  • Fluent in HTML/XHTML/CSS
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop
  • A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code
  • In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them
  • Experience working with Javascript, jQuery, etc.
  • Mobile development experience a plus
  • Drupal experience a plus

Experience
This is a mid-level position. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience.

Intern / Marketing

We are seeking an intern to assist us with our marketing initiatives. Potential candidate must be energetic, creative, proactive, extremely organized and detail-oriented. This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate student looking to gain experience. For college credit only. This is not a paid internship.

Senior Website Designer

We are currently looking for a full time, ultra creative, agency quality, well-rounded senior web designer who can produce strong, creative, conceptual design solutions that meet strategic objectives.

A Little About You
You can take business requirements and translate into successful web design solutions. You have solid creative ideas coupled with a good understanding of usability principles. You have experience in user interface design and in creating intuitive navigation schemes. Also, you have knowledge of current Internet standards, including web browser compatibility and browser specifications. You have expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and trends in web design.

Skills and Responsibilities
Creating effective designs for internet and web-based marketing initiatives as well as selecting imagery/photography, producing graphics, providing quality assurance on creative deliverables, incorporating team feedback and revisions as appropriate, proactively identifying issues and concerns that could impact scheduling and/or quality. Must hold a BFA in Graphic Design/Web Design and meet the requirements above. Design for print experience is a definite plus.
